Information

Privacy notice

This page explains in direct language which data is processed when you use the Technology Without Fear website.

Data controller

Fabrizio Degni. For requests concerning personal data, write to info@tecnologiasenzapaura.it.

Data collected

The website does not use behavioural analytics or profiling tools. If you submit the contact form, it collects your name, email address, topic, message and consent. Standard technical hosting logs may include an IP address, date, time and requested page for security and operational purposes.

Contact form

Form data is transmitted through Formspree and forwarded to the controller's mailbox. Before submitting, you can also read the Formspree privacy policy. You can avoid the form and write directly by email.

Purpose and legal basis

Data provided voluntarily is used only to read the request, reply and manage any follow-up. The legal basis is the consent expressed in the form and, where applicable, steps requested by the data subject.

Retention

Messages are kept for the time required to manage the request and normally for no longer than 12 months, unless a legal obligation or the defence of a right requires otherwise.

Cookies and local storage

The website does not set profiling, advertising or analytics cookies. In Online extras, you can explicitly choose to remember challenge progress on your device. Only after you enable that control does the browser save challenge IDs and completed checkpoint states, using the key tsp:extras:v1:progress. No typed text, passwords, personal details or analytics information is saved, and nothing is sent to the website owner.

In Technology Together, you can separately enable optional saving with the key tsp:together:v1:progress. It stores only the mission ID, completed step indexes and completion state. It never stores names, ages, participant count, place, configuration, answers, messages or other personal information.

In the Digital Playground, you can choose to remember progress with the key tsp:games:v1:progress. It stores only the game ID, numeric best score and completion state. Passphrases built in the Workshop, individual answers, opened clues, copied text and any other content are never saved or transmitted.

You can turn off each control to stop and remove its storage, use the reset controls to remove the keys, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. External sites reached through links, including LinkedIn when you explicitly choose to share, apply their own notices.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection and may withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
